PAST CREATIVITY PROJECTS

Past supporters include The Louisiana Project Grant, The Charles Lamar Family Foundation, Louisiana Jazz and Heritage Community Partnership Grant, and the support of the community and various local businesses. Thank You for making this possible for our youth!

“Chamber Music- A conversation between friends.” -Catherine Drinker Bowen

The Multicultural Sounds Project gives local children an opportunity to experience and create art and chamber music through workshops and masterclasses taught by professional musicians and artists as well as a concert for the public in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. During the Multicultural Sounds Project, PHOA will hold art workshops in local schools, hold Creativity Day BR in collaboration with Lyrica Baroque and bring together local organizations and schools to grow the Arts in our community!

The students at Gardere Elementary and Wildwood Elementary as well as homeschool students at the Zachary Library joined us for an array of programming in music and art. All the students were exposed to new technique while being immersed in music.
